Document Description
The proposed project would stabilize a stream-bank that is starting to undercut an existing structure and prevent sediment impacts to downstream salmonid habitat. During the winter of 2017-18, Mill Creek started to scour under the southwest corner of an existing structure. The bank scour must be stabilized before winter stream flows to prevent property damage and possible impacts to Mill Creek. Approximately 25 cubic yards of rock slope protection (RSP) would be placed to stabilize the bank that is being scoured under the existing structure. Willow staking would be incorporated into the RSP; however, willow stakes would not be placed in the RSP immediately adjacent to the southeast corner of the garage. No trees would be removed to complete the project. Additionally, the project would include invasive vegetation removal from approximately 300 linear feet of streambanks within the Project area.
