Class 1 - existing facilities: The proposed project involves two existing wells in a highly-developed existing oil field. The drilling operations will result in only minor alterations to an already densely-developed oil field with negligible impacts to the existing condition of the land. The Division has determined that the project is categorically exempt from CEQA under the Class 1.
