Document Description
On February 20, 2018, the MCWD Board approved a resolution directing District to staff to file an application with the Local Agency Formation Commission to annex properties into MCWD's service area. The project, titled the Ord Community Sphere of Influence Amendment and Annexation included portions of the Ord Community that MCWD currently serves (and owns infrastructure) for water supply and wastewater collection.

The project would not cause or lead to any change in the physical environment.
The annexation would include only areas containing existing public or private structures developed to the density allowed by current zoning and properties that have already received entitlement for development consistent with current zoning. The modified project would not change the service provided by MCWD or the facilities used to provide those services.
It can be seen w/ certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment b/c the modified project would not cause or allow any changes in the physical environment and there is no possibility that the modified project may have a significant effect on the environment.
