Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2018-0199-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Jerome Langer. The project is limited to filling voids caused by erosion of the upper bank to achieve bank stabilization. Silty soils exist on the upper bank and have eroded due to high flows, creating voids between root spaces of three large native trees. The trees are currently maintaining the bank, but with future high flows and continued erosion, the trees are likely to become uprooted. The project proposes to achieve bank stabilization w/o removing existing native trees. The project is limited to installing five vertical 25 ft deep piers placed 3-5 ft outside the face of the bank, to which rods will be attached. Rods will secure temporary forms at the outside of the void area, creating a space for lean concrete fill to be pumped into eroded void space. When concrete has hardened, the forms will be removed and the rods cut at ends.
