Document Description
CDFW has executed lake and streambed alteration agreement no. 1600-2018-0154-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to Tanner Estes, Sierra Pacific Industries. The proposed project will place approx 210 cy of 18- to 24-inch rock slope protection on the eastern bank of Greenhorn Creek to provide bank stabilization and prevent future erosion and damage to an existing bridge structure. The RSP will be placed against the existing abutment and wingwall and extend upstream approx 120 lf where erosion and scour are already present on the creek bank. To facilitate the flow of the creek back to the center of the channel, vegetation in the center of the creek (willows and grasses) will be cut using hand tools. Native willow plantings will be replanted in the RSP areas away from the existing bridge.
