Document Description
South Ponto State Beach has public use beach volleyball courts. The adjacent Batiquitos Lagoon is scheduled for its periodic dredging from 9/4/2018 until 3/1/2019. The dredge basin and sand pipeline will be positioned on the south side of the jetty, where the volleyball courts are currently located. This project will create temporary courts by moving the volleyball poles to the north side of the jetty. In the spring, when the dredge equipment is removed from the beach on the south side of the jetty, the poles will be moved back to their original location.
