Note: Refer to NOE for full Description
The city Water Department is proposing to conduct a pilot test program at the city's existing Beltz 12 well facility in line with the Aquifer Storage and Recovery General Waste Discharge Requirements set forth by the SWRCB. The intent of the proposed ASR pilot test program is to assess the viability of diverting excess surface water to the local groundwater basin. The findings, if favorable, would provide the basis for the design, environmental planning, and permitting for a long-term, full-scale ASR project.
