DTSC approved a request, dated Feb 20, 2018, from Philbro-Tech Inc. (PTI) (EPA ID CAD008488025) for temporary authorization to manage RCRA hazardous waste in Tank C-40 in accordance with section 66270.42, subdivision (e) of title 22 of the CCR. On April 6, 2018, DTSC approved PTI's temporary authorization request to authorize the continued operation of Tank C-40 for a period of 180 calendar days, until Oct 3, 2018. DTSC is extending the temporary authorization for Tank C-40 for an additional 180 calendar days, expiring on April 1, 2019.
