Document Description
Dudley Ridge Water District and Kern County Water Agency have requested that DWR convey up to 800 acre-feet of transfer from El Dorado Irrigation District. EID will release the transfer water from Weber Reservoir. EID also has a separate conveyance agreement with DWR, DRWD, and KCWA regarding the transfer of stored releases from Jenkinson Reservoir. The combined max transfer amount from both reservoirs will be 5,000 acre-feet. The point of transfer will be Folsom Lake Reservoir. The transfer water will flow to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, where it will be pumped by DWR at the SWP Banks Pumping Plant and conveyed to DRWD's and KCWA's service areas.

EID filed a Petition for Temporary Change with the SWRCB on May 21, 2018, pursuant to Water Code 1725 et seq. The SWRCB approved the transfer on July 30, 2018. In accordance with Water Code 1729, temporary changes filed in accordance with Water Code, 1725, et seq are exempt from the requirements of CEQA.
