Document Description
The proposed project includes 1) general improvements to the existing WWTP infrastructure and facilities; 2) improvement and expansion of the treatment system capacity to meet an average dry-weather flow capacity of approx 64,000 gpd; 3) expansion of the effluent storage capacity to a total of approx 82-acre ft; 4) expansion of the effluent disposal/reclamation area to approx 27 acres; and 5) all necessary improvements to the collection and disposal pipeline system to support the above treatment, storage and disposal/reclamation upgrades. The proposed project area is located in western Amador County, approx 5.75 mi southwest of the city of Ione, CA. Currently the proposed project is tentatively planned to be completed by 2022.
