Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0021-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Petaluma.
The project is limited to the excavation of approximately 6,150 cubic yards of sediment buildup along approximately 400 linear feet of Petaluma River channel centered on the Corona Road Bridge. Additionally, 475 cubic yards of riprap will be placed above and below the top-of-bank to protect the bridge abutments. The project also includes the creation of off-stream flood detention basins with three outlet pipes, each requiring 100 cubic yards of riprap.
