The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-201 9-0307-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Vacaville. The Project is limited to the removal of a vehicular bridge and two associated pedestrian bridges to be replaced with an approximately 54-foot long, 54-foot wide single-span, prestressed concrete slab bridge with a clear span. A temporary pedestrian bridge will be installed on the upstream side of the bridge during construction and removed upon completion. A total of six trees will be removed. In addition, three elderberry bushes will be removed. Temporary dewatering of Alamo Creek will occur during the Project if the creek is not completely dry.
