The project involves the construction of a new senior living apartment building on a portion of a 10.12 acre parcel at The Park Lane, a senior housing community. The project would occur within a 19,163 sf (0.44 acre) "area of work." The project consists of the demolition of an existing surface parking lot, site preparation that includes 300 cy of cut and 150 cy of fill, the removal of 8 trees, and the construction of a four-story, 40-unit senior independent living apartment building. Exterior improvements include a permeable, common patio area located along the southern end of the building, and ornamental and native landscaping, including ten new Redwood trees along the southern end of the property to further screen the project from SR1.
