The reservoir would be supplied by PVC waterlines from two existing wells located on the subject property. Connection to the southeast well would require installation of a 12-in underground pipe in an 18-in wide, 4-ft deep trench, along the southeast access road for approx 1,159 ft. The reservoir would be approx 207-ft wide, 457-ft long, and 28 ft deep, with a max capacity of 40.1 acre feet. The project would result in the disturbance of approx 4.48 acres (195,149 sf), including approx 44,000 cy of cut and 44,000 cy of fill, on a 44-acre parcel. The applicant proposes to balance the material on-site with no required import or export of soils. The proposed project is within the agriculture land use category and is located approx 2,000 ft west of Shell Creek Rd, approx 3,000 ft south of Truesdale Rd, 4.75 mi south of the community of Shandon.
