Document Description
The city of Highland in cooperation with Caltrans District 8 proposes various improvements along Boulder Ave from south of Greenspot Rd to San Manuel Village entrance to complete unfinished street components, retrofit improvements to meet current ADA standards, and construct pavement rehabilitation improvements to meet the goals of the California Complete Streets law to meet the mobility needs of the community including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit commuters, equestrians, and motorists. The project includes sidewalk, parkway landscaping, new raised medians with landscaping, adding landscaping in some existing medians, handicap accessibility improvements, anti-graffiti and aesthetic improvements, and adding traffic signal bicycle detection, lighting, and signage, and traffic signal interconnect conduit.
