The revised SWFP will allow the facility to update the SWFP for the following purposes: 1. Increase the permitted maximum tonnage from 2,000 tons per day (tpd) to 3,000 tpd for 15 days of the calendar year when Mid-Valley Sanitary Landfill (MVSL) is closed due to high wind event days; 2. Increase the design capacity from 20.4 million to 22,685,788 cubic yards; 3. Update the estimated closure year from 2043 to 2039; and, 4. Updates to the Report of Facility Information and Final Grading Plan.
