RE Scarlet LLC, has submitted Unclassified Conditional Use Permit Application No. 3555 to construct, operate, maintain, and ultimately decomission a 400-megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic electricity generating facility and 400 MW energy storage system and associated infrastructure to be known as the Scarlet Solar Energy project. The project would provide solar power to utility customers by interconnecting to the regional electricity grid at Pacific Gas and Electric Company's Tranquillity Switching Station.
