Document Description
The OHMVR Division is evaluating the potential environmental effects of issuing special event permits for up to two music festivals to be held between the months of October through February within the Oceano Dunes District. The events would take place within Pismo State Beach and Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area. Each music festival is expected to occupy approx 15 acres between Marker Posts 3 and 4.5, and the designated event area perimeter would be fenced. Music festivals would last for up to one week, from setup to complete site clearance. The music event itself would last for up to four days and three nights. Music festivals may run all night. This year, the event is planned for Thursday, October 11, 2018 to Monday, October 15, 2018.
