The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0155-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Sempervirens Fund. The project is limited to the decommissioning of 1803 linear feet of an old logging road in order reduce sediment delivery to Kings Creek and improve steelhead habitat. Revegetation efforts are also proposed within three sites; riparian corridor, project's disturbance area and old Christmas tree farm.
