Document Description
This project will install and demonstrate a new permanent microgrid that manages high distributed energy resource penetration to meet power demand loads, while minimizing grid draw and enhancing renewable electricity export. The microgrid will include an advanced, 2-MWh battery storage system, 2.0 MW of renewable power co-generation capacity, an advanced microgrid controller to allow islanded operation and demand response; and develop an approach and lessons learned to support its replication at other facilities.
