Document Description
The DREC is under regulatory order to install additional treatment to its water system to meet quality standards. The Project instlled a 10,000 gallon tank with fixed aeration sprayers. Installation of a lockable access cover, an OSHA caged ladder, flanged and threaded connections and roof vent connections were included with the tank installation. The purpose of the tank aeration system is to volatilize trihalomethanes which form, and reduce the amount in the distribution system. The project will provide for the operation of these facilities.
