Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0409-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Gary Black, Contractor. The project is limited to 1) replacing an existing diversion infrastructure, 2) decommissioning the previous diversion infrastructure, 3) adding a pipeline for an additional 1,275 feet for water efficiency, and 4) burying a water pipeline under an existing livestock crossing. The diversion infrastructure will be a CDFW compliant on-channel fish screen at a new location upstream approximately 240 feet from the current point of diversion on Cold Creek. The diversion is operated by John Fitzgerald and property owned by Bogus Creek Ranch. Trees will be removed for the placement of this structure and the connected pipeline. See plans submitted with notification for a detailed description of the project and water diversion plan. CDFW will assist with fish exclusion activities.
