Document Description
The project includes three encroachment activities and is limited to: substantial obstruction of the natural flow of channel surface waters at three existing points of diversion from three existing on-stream reservoirs (Ponds 2, 3, and 5). The on-stream dams were built with no structures for regulating controlled releases of water to downstream reaches. Water is diverted at a rate of up to 20 gallons per minute. Ponds 1 and 4 are not covered by this Agreement.

Activities will be conducted in a manner to protect water quality and free flowing conditions in the Sulphur Creek watershed. No mature or scenic trees will be removed. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, threatened, or rare species or their habitat pursuant to S 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
