Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to repair and restore highway facilities damaged by the July 2018 Pasqual Fire on State Route 78 from post miles 29.1 to 31.0 near Ramona in San Diego County. All work will be within Caltrans right-of-way. The purpose of this project is to maintain a transportation corridor between the City of Escondido and Ramona. This project is needed since this two-lane highway is at risk of closure due to high potential for mud flows during the upcoming rainy season.
