Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2018-0104-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Pacific gas and Electric Company.
The purpose of the project is to remove 31 trees and two concentrations of shrubs along the banks of two canals that are tributary to the Toe Drain Canal. The trees range in size from 1-38 inches in diameter at breast height. The tree are located directly above a gas transmission line and the Permittee is mandated to provide access to the line for safety inspection. Crews will use chainsaws above ground level witht he root mass left in place to maintain bank stability and minimize ground disturbance.
