Document Description
This project has a Geothermal Grant and Loan Program grant to prepare and execute a small scale demonstration of CO2-based geothermal power generation. The project includes installation of a closed loop Carbon Dioxide driven turbine, utilizing an existing geothermal well. Cooled CO2 will be sent down the center of the well, heated by the hot rock outside the well, then the heated CO2 will go up the well shaft and turn the turbine, the Co2 will them be re-cooled, and circulated again.
