Document Description
The District proposes to install a 1,125 ft^2 shade structure and new 240 ft^2 anion uranium treatment system within the shade structure at an existing well site. The shade structure will also house the existing on-site pumps and an existing on-site hydro-pneumatic tank. The shade structure will have fencing installed around the outside. Water Remediation Technology, LLC will supply the treatment resin tanks that will collect the uranium from the water and will pick them up every 1-2 years to recycle the uranium into fuel. The raw water for the system will be connected from an existing tank to the new treatment system with 73 ft of 2-in diameter piping. A parallel 2-in diameter 73-ft pipeline will also be installed from the new treatment system to an existing tank inlet. An existing dirt road will be used to access the site and a grassy area next to the parking lot will be used for staging of construction material. The total staging and access area will be approx 8,875 ft^2. The project will provide for the operation of the system.
