The Peery Park Riparian Restoration Proect was initiated by the City of Capitola Commission on the Environment as an effort to remove invasive, non-native vegetation. The goal is to improve the habitat, protect the native trees, allow for diverse native species reestablishment, and to replant the area with native plant species.
