Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0067-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Santa Clara County Creeks Coalition. The Project will take place within a 6.3 acre section of Coyote Creek. The impacted area includes 2.56 acres in which non-native plant species will be removed. Removal will be done using power equipment such as chainsaws and weedwhips, and hand tools such as loppers, shovels and hoes. Some species will require localized herbicide spot treatments, such as the cut-stump method, to prevent regrowth . Work activities will not occur within the wetted stream .
