Document Description
PG&E proposed to stabilize the shoreline in an area of Rocky Point Campground on Lake Almanor by repairing areas of damaged rip rap, recontouring and installing rip rap on newly eroded areas, and removing unstable trees. The area experience severe erosion of the shoreline during the winter of 2016-2017. High water levels and heavy wave action damaged existing rip rap, caused bank erosion in non-stabilized area, and undercut and destabilized trees, causing unsafe condition in campsite 120-125.
