Document Description
The Project is limited to widening an existing driveway adjacent to a tributary to Salvador Creek and extending two existing culverts to accommodate the widened driveway. Grading, fill, and rock armoring activities will culminate in 1,500 cubic yards of fill, a stacked gravity block wall spanning 85 linear feet, and rock aprons for two culverts. The 30-inch culvert and a 24-inch culvert will be extended by 25 linear feet, and the driveway will be repaved with hotmix asphalt. In preparation for this Project, removal of 28 native riparian trees occurred along the unnamed tributary to Salvador Creek prior to CDFW notification. The Project does not include additional riparian tree removal. The Project includes restoration activities to offset the impacts including this removal. The project will temporarily impact 0.16 acres and permanently impact 0.1 acres and 51 linear feet of riparian habitat, including the unauthorized impacts that occurred.
