The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Stream bed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0106-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Sacramento County Department of Transportation, as represented by Mike Meschi. The project will address scour around existing piers and abutments at the Dillard Road Bridge. The purpose of the project is to provide scour counter measures for Pier 3, and to establish a scour monitoring program for Abutments 1 and 6, and Piers 2, 4, and 5.Scour counter measures include the installation of 306 cubic yards of rock slop protection.
