Document Description
The project will involve improvements to the existing water system in order to correct deficiencies in the existing treatment process. The proposed project involves the construction, operation, and maintenance of new filters, construction of a treatment plant building, new chemical feed systems, improvements to electrical controls, telemetry, and instrumentation, reconditioning of an existing concrete water storage tank and installation of a new raw water tank, and replacement of transmission and distribution pipeline. The project as proposed will directly benefit the entire system. The project will assure provision of a safe and reliable source of drinking water in compliance with State Division of Drinking Water standards.
