Document Description
The Antioch HCP/NCCP is being prepared under the combined efforts of the city, the East Contra Costa County Habitat Conservancy, the USFWS, and the CDFW. The city is designing the HCP/NCCP to be entirely consistent with the approved East Contra Costa County HCP/NCCP. The Antioch HCP/NCCP is intended to allow urban growth in the city of Antioch consistent with its GP while providing incidental take authorization for impacts to federal and state listed species, as well as species expected to become listed in the near future. This take authorization would be provided by the USFWS under the ESA and by CDFW under the state Natural Community Conservation Planning Act.
