Document Description
The Hypalon lining on the existing Alta Sierra Reservoir is deteriorating and is nearing the end of its useful life. NID is proposing to remove and dispose of the existing Hypalon-lined reservoir and construct two new water storage tanks within the same footprint. The new tanks would be concrete that may be stained a neutral color to blend with the surrounding environment and would be covered. The configuration of the two tanks would be derived during the design process, keeping with the existing berm footprint. The roof of the tank would be approx 30 ft high, which would result in approx 14 ft above the existing berm. The earthen berm surrounding the existing reservoir would be reconfigured for tank construction.
