Document Description
The project involves the repair of a stream bank landslide that occurred in Feb 2017 along the southern side of Bear Gulch Crk at the project site. The slide debris would be removed from the channel and the pre-slide toe of bank line would be restored. The slope would be recontoured and would have a max slope of 2:1 (horizontal to vertical). The project is designed to stabilize the creek bank with log rootwads, engineered log rootwad jams, 0.5 ton and larger anchor and ballast boulders, live willow brush layering, a tight line in the seep zone, and 100% biodegradable fabric-covered upper bank riparian planting area. The project involves removal of one 4-in bay tree and seven stumps. The project also involves implementing a dewatering and fish relocation plan along a 124-ft section of the creek prior to the start of project construction. The zoning district in which the parcel is located is RR (Rural Residential)
