Document Description
The California Department of Transportation proposes to relaign the approach curve and widen shoulders on the east end of Middle River Bridge. Safety devices will be improved, street lighting will be relocated and trenching will occur on the shoulders to accomodate placement of electrical/conduit. No work will be done on the structure itself. In addition, the scope of work will include repairing a damaged dolphin structure at pier 5 by removing the six existing timber piles and installng new piles.
