Document Description
Caltrans proposes to replace culverts at seven locations and guardrails at two locations on SR 190 between Springville and Camp Nelson in Tulare County. The culverts at seven locations on SR 190 have begun to fail due to rust, corrosion, and being undersized. Also, the guardrails no longer meet design standards. The purpose of the project is to replace the existing culverts to prevent flooding, roadway washout, and/or roadway overtop and to bring the guardrail to current design standards. Temporary minor traffic delays and lane closures are expected during construction. Temporary construction easements may be required to install the culverts, but no new right of way will be required.
