The proposed project would involves the installation of solar array panels on a currently vacant parcel owned by the Taft Union High School District. The purpose of the proposed project is to provide the Taft Union High School District with solar power generalized by the solar array field through exposure to the sun. This would result in a net increase in the supply of electricity available to the school district that would allow for the replacement of electricity currently purchased from PG&E.
