Document Description
The project involves exotic plant removal and native plant community restoration on 23.5 acres of State Park land. This project will restore native habitat on critical portions of a bio-corridor that connects Chino Hills State Park and the surrounding Puente-Chino Hills and the Santa Ana River to the Cleveland National Forest and the Santa Ana Mountains. This project will improve the function of this habitat linkage, a critical point of connectivity for the plants and animals utilizing Chino Hills State Park and the surrounding Puente-Chino Hills. This action will help prevent local and regional species extinction.
