Document Description
The city proposes to extend Imperial Ave from I-8 to McCabe Rd. The proposed 1.36-mi roadway extension would function as a 4-lane divided arterial (with left turn lane) from I-8 to Wake Ave, a 2-lane arterial (with left turn lane) from Wake Ave to Valleyview Ave and a 2-lane arterial (without left turn lane) from Valleyview Ave to McCabe Rd. The project would introduce a median varying in width from 12-14 ft between I-8 and Danenberg Dr, and then consistently 12 ft in width from Danenberg Dr to McCabe Rd. The project would construct a 5.5 ft sidewalk along the entire length of the eastern project boundary and would introduce native backing on both sides of the proposed roadway.
