Document Description
The project is the relocation and consolidation of Hospital Police operations on a 7-acre portion of the 155-acre DSH Metropolitan campus. The Project would demolish 5 historic-age structures to construct a 1-story, 20,000 s.f. building to house the Hospital Police and the Office of Special Investigation. The project would also realign the intersection of Sixth St./Bloomfield Ave. to the north to serve as the new main hospital entrance, and would install a new signal, crosswalk, sidewalk, fence, landscaping and irrigation, a new police kiosk and security arm gate and 80-foot high radio monopole. The Project includes 2 vehicular access points and 2 new surface parking lots.
