Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed an Amendment to Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0068-R4, issued to the East Merced Resource Conservation District. The Project includes routine, reoccurring maintenance activities in the Merced River to restore and improve mixed riparian forest and oak sycamore habitats within the river system as well as to decrease erosion, foster sediment deposition, slow flow velocity along the bank, and stabilize failing banks. The amendment includes modifications to how and when voluntary vegetation planting activities will occur.
