Document Description
The Forest Service is proposing a restoration project to increase passage for juvenile and adult golden trout, mountain yellow-legged frogs, and other aquatic organisms. The project will replace the existing culvert on Sherman Pass Road (FS Road 22S05) at the Fish Creek crossing with a 58-foot span bridge and reconstruct/restore the stream channel up and downstream of the bridge. The Project will provide a channel up and downstream of the bridge. The Project will provide a channel floodplain design through the bridge footprint to stabilize the upstream channels, reduce the sedimentation downstream, and optimize the movement of aquatic organisms.
