Foresthill Public Utility District is submitting to the SWRCB Division of Water Rights (SWRCB) a Petition for Change Involving Water Transfers to facilitate a transfer of 2,000 acre feet of water under water Right Permit No. 15375 to Kern County Water Agency (KCWA) and Dudley Ridge Water District (DRWD) pursuant to Water Code §1725-1732. This temporary transfer would involve water currently stored in FPUD's Sugar Pine Reservoir on North Shirttail Canyon Creek to KCWA and DRWD for use within the KCWA and DRWD service areas. Transfer water should be supplied under this appropriative right to help meet existing demand from existing water users within KCWA and DRWD's existing service area during 2018.
