Document Description
The northeast side of runway 25 is overgrown with heavy vegetation, mostly scotch broom. The area that will be worked is between the north side of the runway and the service road, from the end of runway 25 to taxiway C. Cal Fire has agreed to do the work using a skid steer, with a masticator, and will [pile up the debris and burn it when the burn restrictions are lifted. Depending on the fire season, the project could take approx. a week to complete. This project is required to gain control of the vegetation and help with the airport beautification project.
