Document Description
The proposed project is a stormwater service agreement between the San Diego Unified Port District and Bio Clean Environmental Services for the procurement and installation of storm drain intel filters at B Street Pier, Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal. The inlet filters would allow for media filtration in the storm drains and the collection of water samples once they pass through the filters. Through the installation of inlet filters at the marine terminals, stormwater discharges from these sites would have trash removal and pollutant treatment before ultimately being discharges to San Diego Bay. The inlet filters are structural Best Management Practices that would achieve three objectives. They would improve the quality of stormwater discharge from three marine terminals. The District would assess the effectiveness of these BMPs by collecting post-treatment samples and the installation of the filters would assist the District in complying with stormwater regulations.
