Document Description
The proposed project is a short-term renewal lease to Coronado Yacht Club for their continued use of approx 675,376 sf of land and water area and approx 39,858 sf of land area that the district leases from the city of Coronado located at 1631 Strand Way in the city. The area proposed for use under this lease would be used only and exclusively for a non-profit private yacht club of approx 264 slips, ancillary dry boat storage, lockers and supporting food and beverage operations including catering, for the promotion of San Diego Harbor and navigation, for recreational activities such as aquatic sports, regattas, and other boating-related events and for no other purposes whatsoever. No new development, construction, or increase in the size of the property is proposed or authorized as part of this lease. The lease would have a total term of 5 years. The tenant would be responsible for compliance with all laws and regulations associated with the activities on or in connection with the premises, and in all uses thereof, including those regulating stormwater and hazardous materials.
