Document Description
DWR will convey up to 50,000 acre-feet of Kern tulare District's Central Valley Project water to Kern County Water Agency. This water will be made available by the United States Bureau of reclamation at banks Pumping Plant and/or O'Neill Forebay for subsequent delivery by DWR to KCWA's turnouts in accordance with Article 55 of KCWA's long-term Water Supply Contract with DWR. The delivery of KTWD's CVP water to KWCA is covered under the 2018 Consolidated Place of Use Order approved by the State Water Resources Control Board and must be completed before the Order expires on July 1st 2019.
