Document Description
This project will remove the old cement horse trough and replace it with a plastic trough. The trough will be placed on a gravel base held in place by wooded form. The form will be spiked to the ground using 24" 5/8" rebar. A trench from the existing valve box will be dug 12" to 16" deep for the extension of the waterline. A redwood box will be placed close to the trough. It will contain the riser and hose bib. A 18" - 24" hole will be dug to place the box. A drain line from the horse trough will run 4' - 6' into the field where the present trough drain line now exists. There will be no excavation for the drain line. It will lie on the surface.
